Flesh Boiz

I created this scene as a tribute to my time at Bossa Studios and as a way to learn Blender.

The character in the centre Flesh Boiz was originally designed by Ian Gillespie and Malford. I wanted to bring it into a believable studio space. It includes a number of subtle nods to projects I worked on during my 8+ years at the studio like the Surgeon Simulator pen and other scattered references across the desk.

This was my first fully rendered scene using Blender, and I had a lot of fun bringing it to life. I learned a ton along the way, from lighting to layout, and used Substance Painter for all the textures.

Special thanks to:
Bossa Studios – for allowing me to include their logo and concept art
Ian Gillespie & Malford – for the original concept behind the Flesh Boiz character
